We're heading into our third weekend of regular hours for #gooddayshop already. As with all new starts, not everything's perfect (in my eyes) of course and that's a constant lesson that the universe won't seem to let up on. That doing the thing, getting started, opening doors, inviting people in - that's what the task is. Not dreaming up what it could be or should be in your head. It's still scary for me to accept approaching things that way, but it's the only way to keep moving forward. . And that's why I love handcrafted. With handcrafted - that idea of perfection is abstract. It becomes that wabi sabi - that mark of the hand in the wood, the slight variation of the weave, the ombre shade of glaze or a brush stroke a little more defined here than over there - that makes that piece what it is. Special - beautiful - real - and perfectly made for you. . If you haven't come in the shop yet, I hope you'll take the time to come on over this weekend to browse, connect, feel at home and love on the (im)perfection with me. . #gooddayshop hours and a link to location info in bio)

Homes are popular on Instagram, too.
Popular places get a lot of love on Instagram, but so do pictures of homes. The right photo can grab your attention (like the ones above). Quality images are equally as important in real estate. According to the Center for REALTOR® Development (CRD), homes with high-quality photography sell 32% faster and for more money. That's why every home we list receives both professional photography and marketing on Instagram.
